Architecture and our shared living space through a point of view of the host Martiņš Ķibilds and a guest - none of whom are professional architects or critics. 2 case studies are examined head-to-head and only one turns out to be a success. These documentary hit series were co-created by me and Mārtiņš Ķibilds after he got inspired from another tv story I made for "Nordic Style" series about public swimming spots in Copenhagen. So far these have been the onnly TV series about architecture in Latvia.

I was on Instagram and, since architecture is a passion of mine, I used to post quite a lot of photos of cities and buildings. Somehow, it always felt like just posting a picture wasn’t enough—I had to say something more about the house. So I started writing little one-paragraph stories under each photo. And then one post, another, a third… people began encouraging me—this is something you should keep doing, develop it! It all started simply as a hobby. […] And that’s how I ended up breaking the stereotype that architecture is this narrow, hard-to-understand niche field that doesn’t interest the average person. I just found a different way to tell the story.
