"I have always been moved by animals that have been hit by a car. I wonder what curiosity makes the animal want to get in the way of a many hundreds of horse-powers? How can it be, that animal wants to cross the road just when the car comes? Doesn’t the animal feel the deadly power of the roaring metal thing that comes out of the dark so fast? What does an animal feel, when he sees the head-lights approaching?
There’s a great mystery in this strange collision between those two worlds. And a great conflict. It’s so intimate! It
reminds me of the ever-mysterious nature of interaction between the worlds of man and woman."
